Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson and Nemanja Vidic have been named as the Premier League Manager and Player of the Month for January respectively.
The Red Devils won all five of their league games last month, seeing off Chelsea, Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion and Everton without conceding a goal.
Indeed, United have now kept 12 consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League, with Ferguson admitting that the record run can lead to a slight change in the style of play from his team.
He said: "The record is having a galvanising effect, but I also thought last week we just started to protect it a little bit.
"Our first-half performance was excellent against Everton. We played some really good football and created a lot of opportunities.
"But towards the middle of the game, I sensed we were starting to drop off a little bit. I think that was to do with keeping the record."
