Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted Gabriel Heinze's days at Manchester United are numbered after the player's agent requested a move away from Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old defender has been linked with a summer move after losing his first-team place to Patrice Evra last season.
Liverpool, Newcastle United and Real Madrid are believed to be interested in signing the Argentina international and Ferguson has intimated he is ready to listen to offers for the unsettled left-back.
"Gaby's agent has advised us that he wants to move on," said Ferguson.
"I'm not too sure about that and we don't have a concrete offer from any particular club.
"But there's some momentum regarding the player's next move in terms of through his agent, even if nothing is close at this moment in time."
Heinze joined United from Paris Saint Germain in a £6.9million deal three years ago.
However, he missed the majority of the 2005-06 season after suffering serious knee ligament damage.
