The draw for the fourth round of the Carling Cup has handed holders Manchester United a tricky trip to Roots Hall to take on Championship outfit Southend United.

Premiership champions Chelsea host in-form Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal must travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton.

Chesterfield's reward for knocking out West Ham in round three is a home clash with another Premiership side, Charlton Athletic.

One League Two side will definitely be in the last eight, with Notts County and Wycombe Wanderers paired with each other in round four.
