Manchester United midfielder Anderson gave his side a half-time lead against Tottenham in a breathless first half at White Hart Lane. Spurs were ahead less than a minute into the Barclays Premier League clash when Jermain Defoe acrobatically found the net to continue his hot streak of goalscoring. Ryan Giggs levelled in the 25th minute when he curled a free-kick into the top corner, with Anderson firing home just before the interval.
