Tigers move right for Campbell

Paul Duffen believes a move to Hull City would be in Fraizer Campbell's best interests. The Tigers have seen a £6million bid for the striker accepted by Manchester United and are now waiting on the striker to agree personal terms. The 21-year-old has expressed a willingness to return to the KC Stadium, having previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at the club, and an agreement is expected to be a formality. Duffen certainly hopes that proves to be the case, as he feels the youngster's development would be better served in East Yorkshire than at Old Trafford. "We have to convince him coming to Hull City is the best thing for his career," Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail. "I believe the next step for Fraizer is to be at Hull City, where he'll get a start every week and the opportunity to score goals in the Premier League. That's what he needs next on his CV, in my opinion." AmbitionCampbell scored 15 goals for the Tigers during a season-long loan spell in 2007/08, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League. Duffen hopes those fond memories will play a crucial role as the talented frontman looks to take the next step in his promising career. "I hope that his previous spell here has some resonance with Fraizer, but like any young professional footballer, he will have ambitions which are his ultimate goal," he added. "You don't go from the start to your ultimate goal in one step and you need to take many steps on that path."
