    Tevez eyes United stay

    24 Nov 2007 - 13:02:51

Argentina international Carlos Tevez is keen to remain at Manchester United for the next five years before returning to his homeland and ending his career with Boca Juniors.

The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford from West Ham United in the summer and has forged an impressive attacking relationship with Wayne Rooney in the opening three months of the season.

Tevez told The Sun: "At 28, I want to be in Boca. I have another year on my contract with Manchester and I could extend it for four years more, then return.

"But I want to return to Boca at my peak not as some fatso. Imagine if you cannot move - they'd scream insults at you. If I return it will be to get stuck in and play!

"But I'd like to stay a few more years in Manchester. They look after me well."

Tevez has found the net five times in 16 appearances for United so far this term.
