Stoke v Man Utd preview
Team news for Saturday's Premier League clash between Stoke and Manchester United at the Britannia Stadium (kick-off 5.30pm). Stoke will definitely be without striker Kenwyne Jones for the game. The Trinidad & Tobago international damaged a hamstring in the penalty shoot-out victory over Tottenham in the Carling Cup on Tuesday and, although the injury is not as bad as first feared, he is likely to be out until after next month's international break. Salif Diao, Cameron Jerome and Jermaine Pennant have all been struggling with niggles this week but should be fit. United forwards Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck will both be pushing for starting slots alongside Wayne Rooney at Stoke. Hernandez has made a rapid recovery from the shin injury he sustained in last weekend's win over Chelsea, while Welbeck returned from a hamstring problem in the midweek Carling Cup success at Leeds. Chris Smalling (groin) is a doubt, but fellow England defender Rio Ferdinand is set to return from a calf injury. The match is live on ESPN HD (Sky channel 417), with coverage underway from 4.45pm. Stoke (from): Begovic, Wilson, Huth, Shawcross, Upson, Wilkinson, Whelan, Whitehead, Diao, Etherington, Walters, Sorensen, Shotton, Arismendi, Woodgate, Pennant, Delap, Crouch, Palacios, Jerome. Man Utd (from): De Gea, Lindegaard, Evans, Evra, Fabio, Jones, Smalling, Ferdinand, Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs, Nani, Park, Valencia, Young, Berbatov, Hernandez, Welbeck, Owen, Rooney.
