It's a quiet time of year for the Firing Line as the 'back me or sack me' season has passed, and prospective employees are put off with the notion of having hours rather than weeks to rebuild a team. But that hasn't stopped question marks appearing over a number of managers in the Premier League, with Wolves' Mick McCarthy coming under scrutiny following a season where his side have failed to kick-on after a summer spend-up.
