Solskjaer tempted by Molde offer

Former Norway international striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he rejected the chance to coach FC Molde because he hopes to manage Manchester United in the future. The 37-year-old is currently working as the reserve-team coach at Old Trafford but retains an interest in Molde, the club he left to sign for United in 1996. "Of course it was tempting," he admitted. "I am a local, I have a sense of belonging at Molde. But I want to be a manager in England. I would like to become manager of Manchester United, too. "As long as the boss (Sir Alex Ferguson) stays, I stay. My job at United is dependent on him. Had Ferguson not been manager at United I wouldn't have been here. "We have a really good relationship and I enjoy working under him."
