Solskjaer goal thrills Ferguson

Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he netted the winner in Manchester United's hard fought 3-2 victory against Celtic on Wednesday.
The Norwegian came off the bench during the first half to replace hamstring injury victim Ryan Giggs and struck two minutes after the break to ensure United started their Champions League Group F campaign with a victory.
For Ferguson it was further evidence that he made the right decision in keeping hold of Solskjaer, despite injuries restricting him to just 24 first-team appearances in the past three seasons.
"Solskjaer's goal was a pure goalscorer's goal," said Ferguson. "He's only been on the pitch for 15 minutes but he's always likely to get us a goal."
Ferguson was less pleased with his defence after some careless play in the build-up to both Celtic goals.
He added: "We suffered from a lack of concentration. We went 1-0 down and this encouraged Celtic. In fairness it made it one hell of a game.
"We did fantastic to come back to 2-1 but we then gave away a slack goal.
"We could have scored more but for some slack finishing and three fantastic saves. But I am happy with the three points."
