Six-week lay-off for injured Wes
09 Mar 2010 - 14:53:56
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Wes Brown could be sidelined until late April.
The 30-year-old England international is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks with the foot injury he picked up against Wolves on Saturday.
Brown sustained the injury in a challenge with Wolves midfielder Matt Jarvis and left Molineux with a protective boot on the damaged foot.
He misses Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against AC Milan, as well as the Premier League games against Fulham, Liverpool, Bolton and Chelsea.
Anderson (knee), Ryan Giggs (arm) and John O'Shea (leg) are also out, although Ferguson confirmed that Wayne Rooney has recovered from a knee injury and is available to feature against the Rossoneri.
