Sir Alex confirms interest in Hazard

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Manchester United have an interest in Lille midfielder Eden Hazard.

He watched the 21-year-old against Lyon earlier in the month.

'I was at the game and watched Hazard.

'He is a very good player and has a lot of qualities. He is particularly fast over the first 10 yards.'

According to a report in The Daily Mail, Ferguson will battle with title rivals Manchester City and Spurs for the Belgian star's signature.
