Sir Aims To Keep Vidic

Sir Alex Ferguson says that he wants to keep Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic at Old Trafford despite rumours of him leaving the club in the summer. United meet one of the club’s linked with a move for the player when they face AC Milan on Wednesday night, he has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid. There has also been talk that Vidic has not been making much of an impression on Sir Alex which is why he has not featured of late. But Sir Alex’s comments today contradict this, he said: "Of course we want him to stay. "He is a great player. One of the best centre-backs in the world. "Our players are the subject of speculation from time to time. You just have to deal with it."
