France international Mikael Silvestre insists he has no intention of leaving Manchester United before his Old Trafford contract expires at the end of next season.
The 30-year-old defender contineus to battle back from the serious knee injury he suffered against Everton in September after being linked with a transfer in the summer.
Silvestre is tipped to return to action in March, but told French television station Canal Plus: "I do not plan to leave the club.
"I want to stay, at least until the end of my contract in June 2009."
Silvestre moved to United more than eight years ago and has made more than 350 first-team appearances for the club.
Of the current United squad, only Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Wes Brown have been at Old Trafford longer than Silvestre.
