Rossi wants United chance

On-loan striker Giuseppe Rossi believes he can be the answer to Manchester United's attacking problems. Rossi, 20, spent last season on loan at Newcastle United and then Italian Serie A side Parma in a bid to play some first-team football. The American-born Italian scored nine times in 19 games for Parma and believes he can return to Old Trafford next season and force his way into the first-team picture. The Italy Under-21 international has played down talk of a summer move to Juventus and has urged Sir Alex Ferguson to give him a chance following the news that United forward Louis Saha will not be fit for the start of the new campaign. "It is all a bit confusing at the moment," said Rossi. "All I will say is that my main goal is still what it always has been - that's to cut it with Manchester United. "Joining Juventus is just talk. I've read about it once or twice but it's not on my mind." Rossi has started just five games for United since moving from Parma three years ago.
