Rooney and Vidic miss training

Manchester United duo Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic are major doubts for the Champions League semi-final second leg clash against Barcelona after missing training on Monday morning.

Rooney limped out of Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea with a hip problem after scoring United's equalising goal, while Vidic was hit in the face by Didier Drogba's knee.

Meanwhile, Owen Hargreaves believes United have every chance of reaching the Champions League final after holding Barcelona to a goalless draw in last week's first leg at the Camp Nou.

The former Bayern Munich star said: "It was a lovely atmosphere over there, a great stadium, although it was a bit quieter than I expected really.

"It'll be great to go back to Old Trafford on Tuesday and that'll be a proper atmosphere.

"We'll be optimistic .We're going to attack Barcelona, get at them and let's see if they can deal with that."
