Rooney already a doubt for Englands World Cup qualifier in Ukraine

Wayne Rooney faces a fight to play in England's penultimate World Cup qualifier against Ukraine as the Manchester United striker's first child is due on October 10 - the day of the match. The 23-year-old faces a tough choice with England boss Fabio Capello unlikely to face the tough task of winning in Dnepropetrovsk without his star striker. Rooney's wife Coleen announced the pregnancy last week, claiming Rooney was 'over the moon' about the news. 'I just know he'll be a great dad. It's something we both wanted and we feel incredibly lucky and happy,' she said.
