Roo reveals United confidence

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has warned Tottenham that confidence is sky high at Old Trafford following the latest twist in the Premier League title race.

United take on Spurs at home on Saturday lunchtime knowing that a victory over a cub that did them a massive favour last weekend will send them back to the top of the table.

Last weekend's derby victory over Manchester City coupled with Spurs' 2-1 win over Chelsea later in the day has blown the title race wide open again.

"It was a great weekend," Rooney told United Review. "To beat City in the last minute was fantastic and then Tottenham went and made the day even better for us by beating Chelsea.

"The title race is back on and it's now between us and Chelsea.

"We need to win our three games and hope Chelsea slip up somewhere.

"But we're feeling confident. The win over City has definitely helped and I think you could tell what it meant to us by looking at the celebrations after the final whistle.

"We're fully focused on getting nine points from our final three games, that's all we can do."
