Ronaldo confirms stance

Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has reiterated his desire to remain at Manchester United as he continues to enjoy an exceptional season with the current Premiership leaders.
The 22-year-old is under contract at Old Trafford until the end of the 2009-10 campaign but has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since last summer.
However, Ronaldo insists: "It is a good sign to know I have so many clubs interested in me, such as Real Madrid. It means that I am valued.
"But I am very happy where I am and I hope to stay at Manchester United for many years.
"The United players are by my side - but of course I believe I am one of the best (players in the world).
"I have a good contract, in financial terms, but what really matters to me is to show my best form."
Since joining United in the summer of 2003 from Sporting Lisbon in a £12.24million deal, Ronaldo has scored 45 goals in 177 appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
This campaign has been his most productive, and his 18 goals in all competitions have helped him to be the favourite to win the Player of the Season award.
