Ronaldo: Target within reach
17 Apr 2008 - 11:38:35
Winger Cristiano Ronaldo is confident the Premier League title will be within reach should Manchester United overcome Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
United's title hopes were handed a double boost when then edged out Arsenal 2-1 last weekend, while main rivals Chelsea could only manage a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic 24 hours later.
That kept the champions a comfortable five points ahead of Chelsea at the top of the table with just four games remaining in the campaign.
The Red Devils take on Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday evening and Ronaldo is hoping for another three-point haul.
"We are in a good position now," the 37-goal winger told the Manchester Evening News. "When Chelsea dropped points after we won against Arsenal it was fantastic for us.
"Blackburn will be a tough game but, if we win, we have a good chance to win the title.
"There are only four games left and there is a lot of pressure. But my confidence is high."
