Ron wants more United titles

14 Jan 2009 - 08:44:41

Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed fresh reports of a summer move to Real Madrid after claiming he wants to win more titles with Manchester United.

The Portugal winger was at the centre of more transfer speculation on Tuesday following reports of a deal between his agent and the Spanish champions to finally take him to Madrid at the end of the season.

United successfully fought off interest from Real for the recently-crowned world and European player of the year during a long-running transfer saga last summer.

But following the latest speculation linking him with a move to La Liga, Ronaldo has pledged his future to the Red Devils.

"I know it will be hard but I want to achieve even more things with these great players we have at United," he said.

"We can dominate. Manchester has a lot of young players - myself included - so the future for the club looks good.

"I want to be here, to be a part of the success that I believe lies ahead.

"For me, it's great to be a part of this fantastic club and my motivation is to win more trophies.

"I'm still very ambitious. I want to carry on and repeat the success I've already had."

I'd love to see Cris continue to pursue his career at Old Trafford as he put it clear, but still more is demanded of him. He has to now that the best in England is not and will not be the best in Italy, Spain, Germany among others. Your form at United will prosper and if you want a change in it, make a move. Thierry Henry of France decided to leave Arsenal sometime back and went to Spain Barcelona, his recent form is incomparible with the previous one in Arsenal. Be wise Cris. We love you at Theatre of Dreams!
