Rio Should Be Back To Face Stoke City
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that defender Rio Ferdinand could well be back in the United side that faces Stoke City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
Ferdinand made it to the sub’s bench for Saturday’s defeat at Anfield, but he was not used, the week before he missed the trip to Arsenal with a back problem.
But now he is back at full fitness Ferguson will consider using him against the Potters.
Fergie told MUTV: "Rio only had one real training session on Friday and we couldn't gamble with only that preparation behind him [for the FA Cup clash].
"He'll train tomorrow and on Monday and could be ready for Tuesday."
