Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has rubbished reports that he will miss Saturday's Premier League showdown with Arsenal through injury.
Ferdinand was set to sit out the mouth-watering title showdown at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend according to newspaper reports.
The England defender had reportedly suffered a recurrence of an old groin injury.
However, the 28-year-old insists he is fully fit and relishing the prospect of taking on the league leaders.
"I don't know where that's come from," he told MUTV.
"I think it's newspapers making up stories again. I've been training fully this week so there's no problem."
Ferdinand has featured in all 11 of United's Premier League games so far this season.
He has also scored twice - against Aston Villa in the 4-1 rout earlier in the month and in the Champions League win over Dynamo Kyiv by the same scoreline last week.
