Rio Ferdinand eyes new Manchester United contract

Rio Ferdinand hopes to clinch a new contract that would make Manchester United the last club of his career. The England defender still has two-and-a-half years to run on his £130,000-a-week deal, but admits he is keen on an extension that would be the final major contract of a glittering career. 'I want to finish my career at United,' Ferdinand told the Sunday Telegraph.
