Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand have both travelled with the Manchester United squad for Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.
Rooney (foot) and Ferdinand (groin) missed Saturday's 4-0 Premier League rout of Bolton Wanderers with minor niggles.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson suggested in his post-match press conference that both players would be fit for the first leg at the Allianz Arena and the pair travelled out to Germany with the rest of the squad on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Ryan Giggs has admitted the tie throws up some happy memories.
Giggs was part of the United side that fought back in dramatic circumstances to win the final 2-1 against the German giants in Barcelona.
"I can't believe it's 11 years ago," he explained. "It was one of the greatest nights of my life and for many fans too, this will bring back a lot of happy memories.
"We will settle for the same score as in 1999 too, but hopefully not leaving it as late as we did then."
