Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is good enough for Man Utd says Alexander Hleb

Hleb, on loan at the Mercedes-Benz Arena from Barcelona, believes that McGregor would be a worthy successor to Manchester United veteran Edwin van der Saar when he finally calls it a day at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old, a likely target for English clubs when the transfer window re-opens in January, stood between Rangers and humiliation, making half-a-dozen outstanding saves to keep the scoreline respectable.

"I think the Rangers keeper played very well," said the Belarussian.
"I know there are a lot of Scottish players in the Premiership right now.
"Good keepers like this will always have the chance to go to the Premiership and he could certainly play for a team of the quality of Manchester City or Manchester United."
However, Hleb, who lost at Ibrox with Stuttgart in the Champions League in 2003, struggled to come to terms with how painless this victory had been.
"It was certainly different from the Rangers performance the last time I was here with Stuttgart," he said.
"They beat us 2-1 that night and it was so tough for us but Rangers had more quality then.
"We came here to win and Rangers allowed us to play our own game. It was a very important match for both teams but I was really surprised that Rangers weren't more aggressive.
"Normally, they don't give you time to think especially at Ibrox but this was a different Rangers.
"This time we were surprised just how much space and time Rangers allowed us. We had so much time.
"Rangers looked as though they had no confidence and sometimes that can happen in football. If it hadn't been for the goalkeeper, maybe we could have scored five."
