Queiroz ponders United exit

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has confirmed that he is weighing up his future options, with an exit from Old Trafford not ruled out.
The 54-year-old Portuguese has been backed by Sir Alex Ferguson to take the top job with the Red Devils when he finally retires, but Queiroz is pondering trying his luck elsewhere.
He told The Sun: "I need to reflect on what I want to do in the last part of my career. In December I'm going to stop and think about myself.
"My contract is perpetual and caters for various options, but I only have one life and one career. I am going to think about it and go for the route that makes me most happy.
"I read Sir Alex said that one day he would like me to be United's main coach. That is one reason I am in this project, but I'm not desperate about it.
"In your personal and professional life you always have more ambitions."
Queiroz is currently in his second spell with United, having left Old Trafford in the summer of 2003 to take charge of Real Madrid, returning after less than a year in Spain.
Earlier on in his career, Queiroz coached Sporting Lisbon, Nagoya Grampus Eight and the New York-New Jersey Metrostars, as well as the national teams of Portugal, the UAE and South Africa.
