Queiroz accepts City loss

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz accepted that the Red Devils were second best in their 2-1 derby defeat by Manchester City at Old Trafford.
As the club paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Munich air crash 50 years ago, United's players failed to add to the occasion by securing victory over their Manchester neighbours.
Queiroz admitted: "This was one of those games the lads really wanted do their best to win, but we did not have any tempo or inspiration early in the game.
"We were perhaps too anxious at the start and that combined with a Manchester City side who showed good movement and were strong on the counter-attack.
"I think the attitude of City and the way we started the game was what influenced the result.
"It was not our day from an individual or collective point of view. It was very disappointing.
"It's important to show in the next game at home to Arsenal that this result was a one-off," Queiroz added on MUTV.
"We need to show we're ready to fight for the championship until the end of the season. We have a long race in front of us.
"On Monday we start again with the strong belief that we are still a good team."
