PICTURE SPECIAL: Manchester United's McDonald's just desserts... Gary Neville's fast-food fix after

Old Trafford club captain Gary Neville wasn't even on the bench for Manchester United's 2-0 Champions League final defeat in Rome... and Sportsmail has discovered a possible reason why - his new McDonalds' diet. Food for thought: Manchester United defender Gary Neville sneaks into a McDonalds restaurant in Rome I'll drink to that: Neville boards the coach clasping his refreshing drink (left) as stoney-faced boss Sir Alex Ferguson (right) leaves Manchester United's team hotel in central Rome JOINING GARY IN THE FAST-FOOD XIPatrik Burger (Liverpool, Pompey and Villa) Ronaldo McDonald (Man Utd) Kola Toure (Arsenal) Jon 'Big' Macken (Barnsley) Simon 'hash' Brown (Brentford) Ricky Shakes (Brentford) Kerry Mayo-naise (Brighton) Gabriel Heinze (Real Madrid) Barry Venison (Liverpool, Sunderland) Steve Hamburger (Millwall) The England full back was spotted grabbing a spot of fast food - hardlythe diet of an athlete (then again, the season is now over for the English champions) - before he joined his team-mates on the bus for a miserable journeyback to England. Neville, 34, was dressed smartly in his United club tie as he joined manager Sir Alex Ferguson and colleagues Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Rio Ferdinand boarding the coach to Rome's airport. Carlos Tevez, meanwhile, was pictured in more casual attire having apparently shunned the official team outfits. Could this be a a further sign that the Argentina striker will leave Old Trafford when his contract expires on June 30? Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and even Tottenham have been reportedly interested in signing him.
