Wayne Rooney nominated for PFA Players' Player of the Year Award 2012Rooney began the campaign with a goal in the first league game against West Brom and scored once again a week later at home to Tottenham.
In late August he scored his 150th goal for United, the first of a hat-trick, in a 8-2 demolishing of Arsenal.
