Paul Ince: I want to be West Ham manager

Former West Ham star Paul Ince wants to be manager of the club one day, despite receiving a bucketload of abuse over the years. Ince began his career with the Hammers, and was a popular figure until his controversial move to Manchester United in 1989, when he was photographed in a United shirt before completing his switch. Are you sure Paul? Ince wants to manage West Ham He has been abused on numerous occasions since, but insists he has noill-feeling towards the fans and would love the chance to take chargeof the club. Way back when: Ince playing for West Ham in 1988 'I would like to go back there as a manager because that is where I started my career as a kid,' he said. 'I've always loved West Ham and always loved West Ham fans. I loved playing there, it's a fantastic flub, it's a family club the way they bring the players through.' He added on talkSPORT: 'It's funny when Zola left (my wife) Claire said to me "could you go back there?" I said it would be a shock. But it was in my head that one day I would like to go back there as manager because that is where I started my career as a kid. 'I still love the club, whether the fans might think completely different that's fair enough, but it's always something that's in my mind.' Ince joined West Ham as a trainee aged 14. He made his debut against Newcastle in 1986, before leaving for United three years later.
