Striker Michael Owen is facing a few more weeks on the Manchester United sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury.
Owen, 30, was expected to start Tuesday's 3-2 Carling Cup victory over Wolves at Old Trafford after shrugging off a groin problem.
However, a minor hamstring niggle picked up during training has left the experienced striker in the treatment room once again.
"I've trained for a week and had a setback with another muscle injury," Owen explained.
"I've got some damage in my hamstring and will be out for the next few weeks unfortunately."
Owen has not featured since limping out of a goalless draw with Sunderland on October 2 with the initial groin problem.
