No United offer for Aguero
11 Jul 2009 - 12:30:19
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has rubbished suggestions that Manchester United have tried to sign Argentina international Sergio Aguero.
Reports claimed last term's Premier League champions had offered £30million plus Portuguese winger Nani for the 21-year-old striker.
However, Cerezo insists that Aguero, who is under contract at the Vicente Calderon Stadium for three more seasons, is not going anywhere.
He told Marca: "Manchester United has not made any offers for 'Kun' (Aguero) - and we will not sell any player.
"We will not sell Aguero, Forlan, Simao - because we don't want to sell any of our players.
"We will keep all of our players because we are very good as we are and we have a great team."
Aguero has scored 48 goals in 125 first-team appearances for Atletico since making his debut for the club almost three years ago.
