Nani fitness boost for United

Manchester United winger Nani has declared himself fit and ready to start the new Premier League season.

The Portugal international missed the World Cup in South Africa after dislocating his collarbone on the eve of the tournament.

The 23-year-old wideman was a surprise inclusion in United's tour party for their five-match programme in the United States.

However, he has resumed full training and could now play some part against Philadelphia Union on Wednesday or Kansas City Wizards on Sunday.

"I just started training with the team three days ago," he explained.

"I am feeling good now. I can feel my fitness beginning to build up and I am hoping to play a little bit this week."
