On the up: Moyes is ready to challenge the big guns David Moyes is confident Everton will be able to attract the players required to break into the top four of the Barclays Premier League. Everton have recorded four top-six finishes in the last five seasons and were beaten FA Cup finalists at Wembley on Saturday. The club finished fourth in 2004-05, but failed to qualify for the Champions League group stage. Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal led the way again but Moyes is optimistic Everton can displace one of the top clubs if they can attract the big names. 'There is no reason why Everton should not be attractive to the top players,' said Moyes. 'The Premier League is popular all around the world and, if a player isn't getting to the small group of teams above us, we are one of the best stops after that. 'There's no doubt that the gap to the top four is there, but everyone should hope we can break into that group. 'That might alter the whole dynamic of football because if it's all just money, money, money we all know something is going to go wrong in the future.'
