Milan duo staying at San Siro

AC Milan duo Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Mathieu Flamini have confirmed that they will be staying at the San Siro until the end of the season.

Netherlands international Huntelaar has endured a dire time with Milan since arriving last summer from Real Madrid, starting only five games with the last coming in October.

He had been linked with a move to England with Manchester United and Tottenham just two clubs reportedly interested in snapping him up.

However, he said: "I have decided to remain at Milan because there are so many people here with whom I have built a great rapport and I am happy at this club."

Meanwhile, former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini, who had been linked with a transfer to Manchester City, told the Rossoneri's official website: "There are so many clubs that have shown an interest in my services. But for the time being, I am happy here."

Since moving to the San Siro 18 months ago, Flamini has made 55 appearances for Milan.
