Manuel Neuer open to Manchester United move

Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has left the door open for an approach by Manchester United by denying he has agreed to join Bayern Munich. The 24-year-old has refused to commit his future to Schalke beyond the end of the season but when he described reports of a deal with Bayern as 'humbug'. The towering No 1's future at Schalke has been under scrutiny since he admitted his unhappiness following Saturday's 2-1 Bundesliga defeat by rivals Nuremberg. 'My future is open,' he said. 'I've always said that in any case I will play at Schalke until the end of the season.'
