A youthful Manchester United team failed to confirm their status as Group B winners after losing to Besiktas. After a promising United start Besiktas took the lead when Rodrigo Tello's long-range shot deflected off Rafael da Silva to beat Ben Foster in the corner. Besiktas almost took a 2-0 lead when Michael Fink hit the post. The hosts then had a penalty shout when Patrice Evra was bundled over late on and Besiktas keeper saved superbly from Federico Macheda and Wes Brown. The defeat ends.... read more
