Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has rejected reports that he has been involved in talks with Manchester United.
Lindegaard, 26, has emerged as a possible transfer target for the Old Trafford club as they begin to consider replacements for veteran number one Edwin van der Sar.
Recent reports claimed that United had been in touch with both Lindegaard and his Danish club Aalesund about a possible transfer.
However, the three-times capped international has dismissed suggestions that he has personally held talks.
"I was shocked," he said. "I have never stated what they claim.
"I was furious when I read it. I have never talked to Manchester United."
