Larsson hails wonder Wayne

Manchester United's loan star Henrik Larsson believes that Wayne Rooney is as good as any player he has played with during his illustrious career.

The 35-year-old Swede has netted twice in five games since joining the Red Devils from Helsingborgs and has been more than impressed with his new team-mate at Old Trafford.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "Wayne Rooney is right up there with the very best players I have ever played with.

"He can shoot and score goals and is a great passer of the ball. It is fantastic to have the opportunity to play with him.

"I have always said it is easy to play with great players and he is a great player.

"When you look at Wayne and Cristiano Ronaldo, it is frightening to think they can only get better because both are already up at such a high level.

"It is up to them how good they want to be, because there is no limit."
