Keeper denies United interest

Internazionale goalkeeper Julio Cesar has denied reports claiming he has been targeted by Manchester United.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford at the end of the season, with the Red Devils keen to find a replacement for veteran current number one Edwin van der Sar.

However, the 30-year-old insists he knows nothing about any potential interest from the Premier League champions.

"I deny everything," he said. "I have a contract with Inter."

Meanwhile, Inter's technical director Marco Branca claims the Italian champions are keen to tie the highly-rated keeper down to a new contract.

"We are already working on a solution and soon his contract will be sorted out," he claimed.

"I don't see any problems, the discussions are continuing in a calm way."
