New Real Madrid signing Kaka is "rejoicing" at the likely prospect of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo next season.
Real have been given permission to open negotiations with the Portugal star after agreeing an £80million fee with the Old Trafford club.
The deal is a world record and eclipses the £59million the Spanish club paid AC Milan to sign Kaka at the beginning of the week and the Brazilian is thrilled by the prospect of lining up alongside Ronaldo next season.
When asked about the move while away on international duty, he said: "I rejoice in the signing of Cristiano.
"I do not want to talk any more about this subject because I am here with the Selecao and we are only thinking about winning the Confederations Cup.
"But there's no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world and he will help Real Madrid fight for every title next season."
Meanwhile, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has denied placing the financial future of the club in jeopardy with his seismic moves in the transfer market.
Reports claims Valencia and Spain striker David Villa is the next star name Perez has set his sights on signing.
"On the contrary, we think we can improve our accounts by aiming for three goals, Increasing ticket sales, increasing bank loans and increasing the club's economic value," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
