Hoeness - No Ribery offers

Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has poured cold water on new speculation that star midfielder Franck Ribery could be on his way out of the club in the summer. Ribery has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United recently and is now also rumoured to be interesting Real Madrid. But Hoeness told kicker-Sportmagazin that no offers or enquiries have come in for the French international. "I'm relaxed about that. He is on a contract until June 2011 with us and we do not have any ambitions to part company with him. There is neither an offer nor an enquiry for his services," he said. Bayern currently sit in second place in the Bundesliga, three points behind leaders Wolfsburg, and entertain in-form Schalke 04 at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Not afraidHoeness said the club are not afraid of the challenge Schalke present, saying: "If you are trying to achieve your goals you should not be afraid of your home encounters. "If we thought like that, we would have already given in. And, although I am not prepared to whitewash anything, I will not allow anyone to bash us for the way the season has gone. "It's not a disastrous one, it is just a fair one."
