Hernandez, Suarez in World Cup action

Manchester United players Javier Hernandez and Patrice Evra were in action on the first day of the World Cup, while Reds fans had their first look at rumoured target Luis Suarez. Hernandes, also known as Chicharito, came on for the last 17 minutes of Mexico's 1-1 draw with South Africa and had little time to make an impact. Patrice Evra made a few familiar raids down the left flank for France, but Les Bleus had to settle for a goalless draw with Uruguay, for whom Suarez played 74 minutes up front.
