Heinze vows to battle on

Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze looks set to appeal against a Premier League arbitration panel's decision not to sanction his move to Liverpool.
The 29-year-old Argentina international had hoped to be allowed to move to Anfield in a £6.8million, but was denied as the panel ruled that a letter to Heinze's agent did not constitute an agreement to sell the player.
A bitter Heinze told The Daily Mail: "My fight is for the freedom to negotiate with any club.
"United never wanted me to leave for one of the big clubs but this anti-Liverpool clause is incredible. I still don't have a clear future.
"I have not spoken with Lyon because I believed my option was Liverpool.
"I would like a solution. Not playing would be negative for me and also the club."
Henize joined United in the summer of 2004 from Paris St Germain and has been linked with a return to France, with reigning champions Lyon reported to be interested in the versatile stopper.
