Manchester United left-back Gabriel Heinze has dismissed rumours that he is set to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old Argentina defender has been linked with a move to Italy to join AC Milan, but Heinze says he is happy to stay put and fight for his place.
He told the Daily Star: "I know the interest from Milan for me, but now the decision remains with Manchester United.
"I have a contract signed until June 2007 and I do not want to go anywhere.
"I do not want to be sold in January. I want to wait until June to see what happens.
"I am happy in Manchester with my work and I want to try and get back in the team, but it is the coach who picks the eleven."
Heinze joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2004 for £6.9million from Paris St Germain, but his time with United has been disrupted by injury and he has lost his first-team spot to Patrice Evra in recent times.
