HATCHET MAN: Keep your cool, Wayne - Barca hope to provoke fit of Pique from United star

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has given the game away as his team prepare to face Manchester United in the Champions League final. In praising his former United team-mate Wayne Rooney as 'powerful and unstoppable' he added the rider, 'when he is really focused'. So, combustible Wayne can expect to have his eye taken off the ball by Pique and co in Rome as they try to disrupt the England striker's game. They may be the self-styled champions of beautiful football but even Barcelona (think Carles Puyol or the suspended Daniel Alves) know how to fight dirty.
