Things seemed to have turned around quickly for Wayne Rooney over the last few days. The angry 'animal' of last week was transformed into the level-headed England match winner who is about to become a dad. But the Manchester United striker has an uncanny knack of letting himself down. Seeing red: Wayne Rooney shows disbelief at being sent off against Fulham Rooney did so when he threw the ball towards referee Phil Dowd, fired off some abuse and then took his anger out on a corner flag at Fulham last week. And he did it again - albeit in much subtler fashion - in the bowels of Wembley as he conducted post-match interviews after Saturday's 4-0 friendly win against Slovakia.
