Hargreaves hints at move

England midfielder Owen Hargreaves has hinted that he hasn't given up hope of signing for Manchester United despite being told he won't play again until the New Year.
The 25-year-old was hoping to make a pre-Christmas return for Bayern Munich from a broken leg suffered in September.
But despite being told by specialists to rest until January, the tenacious midfielder has intimated that a move to the Premiership could still be on the horizon.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson tried to land Hargreaves after the World Cup but the Bundesliga club rejected the Red Devils' approaches.
"It's better if I don't play again in 2006," Hargreaves told Kicker magazine.
"A thousand things happen in the winter. In life there are always surprises."
Hargreaves now faces a race against time to be fit for England's friendly with Spain at Old Trafford on February 7.
