Hargreaves claims United offer

Bayern Munich's England midfielder Owen Hargreaves has confirmed that Manchester United have offered him the chance to play in the Premiership.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent performer for Bayern over a number of seasons, helping the club win the domestic double in both of the last two seasons.
He was also one of few England players to impress during the World Cup finals earlier this summer and has been handed a starting spot by new boss Steve McClaren for the friendly against Greece.
Hargreaves told Bild: "The offer from Manchester United is fantastic.
"It's especially enticing for me as an England international and you never know if the opportunity will present itself again.
"Now it's time for me to take the next step and develop myself further.
He had earlier told The Times: "It would be a great opportunity to play in England.
"I've been at a club, Bayern, who have had great success and been very good to me, but a lot of my family live in England and Wales and they would really appreciate it if I was there.
"It would seem a natural progression."
